Following up on the Madagascar population breakdown tables - I put together a reproducible audit trail for the extraction, attached here along with the cleaned Excel file.
The package includes the source page map, the intermediate source CSVs, and an R script that rebuilds the Excel workbook from those CSVs. The README also documents the exact Tome 2 / Errata pages used and the transformations applied to make the regional age-sex groups mutually exclusive.
Ian: This doesn't change anything for us, as the clean table is the same as we worked on before. This is just to make the extraction process reproducible, so we can stash it in case it's ever necessary.
