When i copy paste an entry from the appointment file into the archive file, such that both files contain the same entry, this is the result

Team's Response

This was not within the current scope of the application. Both the archive and save file have error handling to ensure that the user does not tamper with the file and accidentally delete data or mess up the format of the file.
Data validation for duplicates in the save files itself is not stated in this current scope delieverable.

Users will mainly be using the application interface to add appointments and move appointments to archive. There is error handling enabled to detect duplicate appointments in this scenario.

For your target audience, it is important to filter out duplicate entries, to improve the efficiency of the clinic, as stated in your DG.

This would prevent the user from having to look through entries only to realise that they are duplicates, improving efficiency and reducing the chance of human error.

Thus, this should be in the scope of the project.
