Among others, I think the following thresholds are currently used in repair_forcing():
0 <= SWdown <= 1360.
0 <= PARdffs <= 0.8*SWdown
0 <= PARdrct <= SWdown - PARdffs
0 <= SWnet <= SWdown
Perhaps revisit these and other thresholds during L4_SM Version 6 development?
