Feature Request: Ecosystem & Integration
Problem Description
OpenSpec needs to fit into the user's existing toolchain, not replace it. Users want to use their preferred AI agents, git workflows, and third-party tools.
Proposed Solution
Better Git Integration: Automate PR creation, sync spec state with branches/tags.
Model-agnostic Plugins: Hooks for other LLMs (LangChain, etc.).
Execution Adapters / Custom Agents: Allow specs to trigger external tools (linters, deploy scripts) or custom CLI agents.
Benefits
Low friction adoption.
Extensibility for unique team workflows.
"One-click handoff" to execution.
Industry Inspiration
Traycer: "Custom CLI Agent Support" and "Tight Integration" with coding assistants.
