UNI Pizzeria scraping is not working

Hi Guys,

The scraper for UNI Pizzeria is not working as well. It looks like that this restaurant has changed their cards to PDFs - so not sure if it would be possible (easily) to scrap this menus as well.

Anyone volunteer? 😁 I think the app is already set up to parse PDF's (from a restaurant not shown on the start page).

If someone submits a working solution on https://github.com/fafeichter/AAUFood, I can deploy it.

We have had some PDF scraping in the past, but it was always a bit unreliable (even more so than the HTML parsing). Additionally, we moved the app to vercel, for which the bundled size of the app is limited to 50mb (I think) and including the PDF parser drives us past this limit. So I removed the PDF scraping for now.

I'm currently testing a community feature on my fork which allows everyone to upload a photo of the "Pasta des Tages" from hotspot.

Nice idea!
Don't want to be nitpicky, but wouldn't a text input for it suffice? I'd rather have some slurs on the webpage instead of a 🍆pic in case of a breach. :D Also, it wouldn't break the visual style.

Interestingly, the company I work at has set up a menu list of the same restaurants in our intranet. Manually maintained. So maybe it would also be an option to allow some trusted users to input (additional) data for the restaurants.

With our latest migration to Vercel we just have the problem of not having a persistent data storage anymore, as the app now runs as a single serverless function.

It should be easy and fast AF, this is why I choose the image upload... and I trust the uni and lakeside community.

It's an idea I had yesterday, let's see how it goes in the next few weeks.

Jep, that's the reason for this project. :)
I would also limit to analog-only information like the Pasta des Tages
