Hi all!
In our recent article we described that optimizing LED power can be key to an accurate OD calibration with an optimal dynamic range. To define the best LED power for each vial and setup we run several calibrations and test different powers, which leaves us with many calibration files and plots. It would be very useful for us and other users that want to implement this LED power optimisation to include the LED power within the calibration data, and then plot it when running calibrate.py.
An alternative option would be to run calibrate.py only right after the calibration and request the current LED power values to eVOLVER to add them to the plot. This is a temporary solution that I think I can easily implement. However, I am not very familiar with React to modify the eVOLVER app code.
What do you think? Could you give me any directions to what parts of the app should be modified to implement this?
Thanks!
