Krypton-Core plugs into thunderbolt port in the back
Clone USB, plugs into any port
Power on
Hold down F2 for setup
Confirm 256 GB SSD
Confirm system memory is 32GB
Navigate to Advanced Tab
Go down to SATA Operation
Set it to AHCI
Select Yes
Navigate to Boot Tab
Select Boot List Option
Choose Secure Boot
Select Enabled
Choose Yes
Navigate to Security Tab
Navigate to Exit Tab
Save Changes and Reset
Choose Yes
Part 2
Hold F12 when computer turns back on
Select UEFI OS(USB2.0 FlashDisk 1100)
Select Clonezilla live (VGA with large font & To RAM)
Choose English
Choose “Keep…”
Start Clonezilla
Choose “device-device…”
Choose beginner
Choose “disk_to_local_disk…”
***NOTE: Disk number should be 3
🔴THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP🔴 Under “Choose local disk as SOURCE”
Under “Choose local disk as target…”
Select “nvme0n1 256GB….P300”
Choose first option (“-sfsck Skip…”)
Select -k1
Choose “choose”
When you see “WARNING WARNING WARNING”
When you see “WARNING WARNING WARNING”
Once it completes, hit enter
Select poweroff
Wait for all lights to turn off before proceeding
Unplug Clone USB
Unplug Krypton-Core
Turn laptop back on
Select okay (should automatically sign in as student)
Open up File Explorer
Choose This PC
Confirm harddrive is there and and has about 140 GB free
Open settings app
In Home rename Krypton-Core to Krypton- ie Krypton-1
Apply label maker labels to laptop chassis
Front top right (readable when open)
Left side toward front
Right side toward front
On bottom of laptop cover property sticker with SN banner sticker (make it readable with other text on back)
