Can not install Evergine because it requires .Net 8 or higher

I am trying to install Evergine with the just downloaded installer on my Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon X Elite)
and getting:

Thank you for the information. Based on what you describe, this is very likely related to the machine architecture.

On Windows ARM64 systems, it is possible to have the .NET SDK installed as an ARM64 version. However, the current Evergine installer only checks for x64 or x86 .NET SDK installations, as it looks for them in specific Windows registry paths that do not include the ARM64 entries.

As a result, even if you have a newer .NET SDK installed (ARM64), the installer is not able to detect it and reports that the minimum required SDK version is missing.

To solve this, please install the Windows x64 version of the .NET SDK (not ARM64). Windows on ARM will run it using x64 emulation, and it will be correctly detected by the Evergine installer.

Once the x64 SDK is installed, please run the Evergine installer again and it should proceed without issues.

Do you have plans to support ARM64?

The only supported solution for now is the proposed one: running Evergine via x64 emulation on ARM. We don’t plan to add alternative support or installer detection for this scenario in the next release.
