Allow users to disable stock status sort option

Gally Platform version(s) affected: 2.1.0

I've removed the stock status as a search filter in my Sylius store's filter navigation. However, it still appears as a sorting option. Since stock status is a system field, I don't have the ability to modify it through the Gally Admin interface.

Is there an alternative way to disable the stock status sorting option without having to make a direct change to the database?
