EDGETX and Taranis X9D + 2019 problems

Hello all, I have had difficulties with a near new Taranis for which I can not find the correction. The original firmware worked and after not being able to bind with several ACCST Rxs, I decided to upgrade to EdgeTx as it appeared that would offer a better option than OpenTx.
The original firmware offered access to Tools in the menu which is no longer an option and the spectrum analyser as well as two QR codes have also disappeared,
My difficulty was that as I use Linux, the flasher and buddy would not work so I abandoned the project. An attempt to install the original firmware also had problems as it was from the previous model , not The X9D+ 2019. From much time trawling the Internet, I found an opinion that the firmware was like a nightly and not available. My attempt to access Frsky was apparently ignored.
I am now the owner of a nice Blue Tx as a conversation piece. Thankfully I still have my old X9D Plus to use which has not failed in several Years. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Lazarus 109

Your post is older, but I'm only reading it now.
I don't know if I understood your request correctly, but on the Frsky website you can find all the FW for specific products, so returning to OTX shouldn't be a problem. Unless your radio is damaged.
I'm also considering switching to Edge, but it doesn't provide direct support for our radios either (I have the same radio as you), so I don't know... Frsky has left us in a real mess.... unforgivable!
