Effective date: July 16, 2026
These terms apply to Telic's public Git plugin, npm package, source adapters, and any future skills-only directory listing. The open-source code is provided under the MIT License.
Telic provides workflow instructions that help coding agents structure tasks, respect explicit permissions, collect evidence, and report uncertainty. It is a developer aid, not a substitute for professional review, backups, security controls, or user approval.
Users must:
- use Telic only with systems, data, and repositories they are authorized to access;
- review proposed commands, changes, evidence, and final claims;
- maintain appropriate backups, credentials, sandboxing, and approval settings;
- comply with applicable law and the terms of connected platforms and tools; and
- avoid using Telic to perform harmful, deceptive, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
Telic does not provide a hosted service or guarantee that a host will expose particular tools, subagents, browsers, or local files. The Codex Git plugin bundles a local MCP runtime; the npm package exposes that runtime separately; and a future skills-only listing may omit it. Local runtimes remain subject to the user's operating-system permissions, host sandbox, approvals, and configuration.
Telic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated plans, code, diagnoses, and reports may be incomplete or incorrect.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Telic maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of Telic.
Material changes will be published in this repository with an updated effective date. Questions may be submitted through https://github.com/Dukeabaddon/Telic/issues. Do not post sensitive information in a public issue.
