CrystalSpace contributors and maintainers are expected to make participation welcoming, constructive, and safe.
- Be respectful and assume good faith.
- Critique code and ideas rather than people.
- Give actionable technical feedback.
- Respect privacy and remove personal data from reports and screenshots.
- Welcome contributors with different backgrounds and experience levels.
- Accept maintainers' decisions about project scope and safety constraints.
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, or personal attacks.
- Sexualized language or unwanted attention.
- Publishing another person's private information.
- Deliberately introducing malicious code, credentials, tracking, or access control bypasses.
- Repeated disruption after a maintainer has asked for a discussion to stop.
Report conduct concerns privately through the repository maintainers or a private GitHub Security Advisory when no private maintainer contact is available. Maintainers may edit or remove contributions, lock discussions, or temporarily or permanently restrict participation when necessary.
Project maintainers will handle reports as confidentially as practical and will avoid conflicts of interest when assigning a reviewer.
