Should this work on a dell T610 with Debian 12 based OS?

Depends on what you mean... My script will work just fine on Debian 12. The problem, if any, would be with the version of OMSA you select within my script.

In your case, Debian 12 has a newer dpkg that supports zst compression. This means you should be good to go to install the newest OMSA (v11+).
