Universal SSL stuck on "Pending Validation" for dpdns.org subdomain on Cloudflare, breaking Cloudflare Pages custom domain HTTPS

I have added my domain xxx.dpdns.orgto Cloudflare via Full NS setup. The Cloudflare dashboard shows the zone status as Active.
However, the Universal SSL​ certificate remains stuck in "Pending Validation"​ and never issues. Because of this missing certificate, my Cloudflare Pages custom domain​ fails to load over HTTPS.
Is this a known limitation with dpdns.orgfree subdomains? Are there any workarounds or solutions?

Update: Waited about two days and the SSL finally validated itself. Everything works now
