deskpi.service failed

is it recommended to use the bookworm version of the raspberry pi os? i haven't tried the pre-installed image yet, and i am running on raspberry pi os bullseye 64-bit, and i get this error when checking the status for deskpi.service

you may want to recompile the code where in the drivers/c/ location, and replace the pwmFanControl64 binary file.
and try again. make sure your OS is 64bit.

Same issue here. Did you find a solution?

Checking the logs I found out that pwmFanControl64V2 cannot open a serial port...

pwmFanControl64V2[652]: open serial: No such file or directory

Edit:
The solution was to add dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host at the end of the file /boot/firmware/config.txt

I did not add it at the beginning because as you can see it was already there! But looking at another issue I found the solution.
