Tomodachi life won't work

For some reason i don't have any errors at all, but me and my friend cannot connect to eachother, no errors, just 'connecting' and 'looking for players', same tomodachi region, same country even lmao, idk whats happening

which version of ldn_mitm are you and your friend using?

preferably also provide clean ldn_mitm logs from home menu > launching game > initializing local wireless session (both you and your friend)

you can enable logging in the ldnmitm config app, or in the tesla menu overlay

the log itself will be placed on the root of your SD

Hey there, having the same issue (but with a local connection between a modded switch and an emulator. I only have the switch side's logs but hope they are helpful. Latest atmosphere (1.11.1) FW 22.1.0.

At first I clicked "Look for players" on my switch and selected my name when it showed up on the emulator, after that, nothing. And vice versa, I clicked Look for players on the emulator and connected from my switch, to no avail.

i don't really see an issue with this log on ldn_mitm's side, said emulator may need to be updated to work with this game. a nifm session is acquired successfully

I haven't seen anyone using local features for now, this might be related to the game being unreleased yet? needing the day 1 patch? I'll give more info regarding this in a about two hours

it's fine, these logs are helpful but I'll need to do some testing. I have an idea as to what the game could be expecting, but at the same time it doesn't really make sense that other people have reported that it works without issues

if you have the ability to, can you also verify whether this happens while connected to a mobile hotspot or any other network in general?

I might try it later, maybe the problem relies on the network being behind CG NAT? Most of my country ISP's works like that, not sure tho

probably not, although I did just take a deeper look at these logs and I noticed that one device is using the lan-play IP configuration while the other isn't, so it would make sense that communication doesn't work in that case

it was indeed the host, but i have made an attempt at looking at this yesterday and a few hours this morning. can you attempt to use this build of ldn_mitm? (both/all parties have to use the same build, for the sake of testing accuracy and so i don't need to deal with mismatched builds)

preferably also generate fresh logs (delete old log file, generate new log file like before)
