Thanks for the report — we'd like to pin this down but the screenshots alone don't tell us where it breaks. Could you share: (1) which provider/agent you're selecting the custom model for (Codex? Qwen? other?), (2) the exact model ID string you entered, (3) whether it fails at save time (resets in the dropdown) or at send time (CLI error — if so, the error text from the Output panel, filter [Mysti]), and (4) your Mysti version. Meanwhile we did find and fix one real bug while triaging this: qwen-code custom models could never be saved from the UI (missing write-side settings mapping) — that fix is landing shortly. A larger dynamic-model-registry overhaul is also planned which removes the silent model resets entirely.
