Vesktop?

Since this is now a different system, is there a way to get this working with Vesktop? I've long since grown out of the performance issues that come with running Discord, let alone modded, and I was able to run the old system with Vesktop with very little hassle.

Supported now. Just build using the way described (skip the desktop part) in README.md, then after you finish, go to Vesktop, open Settings -> Vesktop Settings -> Open Developer Options -> Vencord Location, Change -> point it to your build path, for example: BetterVencordPatchset/dist/Vencord/dist and confirm. After Vesktop restart, it should work. Let me know if it does or if it doesn't

Thanks for this. Vesktop was weirdly resistant the first couple of times I forced a restart but it took on the third try, I successfully imported my filesystem dump and am all running again. No more being driven insane by the default Discord notification sounds for me. Thanks a bunch.

After the most recent batch of changes from Discord, I'm afraid I'm unable to get Vesktop to work with the patchset. Even after deleting the files, redownloading them a couple of times and setting the path in vesktop Settings, there's no sign of BetterVencord or the file directory in my settings menu.

The latest update has made the patchset work - Filesystem appears in the settings - but it introduces horrendous lag, I'm talking 10s of seconds to scroll and multiple minutes to swap chats or open the settings. I've tried disabling all of my plugins individually, but the lag doesn't go away until the BD Compatibility Layer plugin is disabled.

Edit: Starting with safe mode in the BDCL settings removes the lag. This could hint towards an incompatibility between BDCL and one or more BD plugins I have, though I find it odd that disabling all of those plugins isn't enough to remedy the lag. The only way I don't have lag is BDCL running in safe mode or disabling the plugin completely.

I suspect it could be one or more old data or config file(s) causing it, but I'm afraid I don't know how to generate new ones in Vencord/Vesktop. I don't mind setting up my plugins again if it comes to it, but I've found the plugins don't appear in the my plugin menu without those files already present. If you could tell me a way to generate those files, I could add them in manually to be sure if that's the problem. If it helps any, all of my BD plugins are exclusively from DevilBro's collection.
