Does ATM call LLMS itself?

I noticed setup includes adding your anthropic key. Does ATM call anthropic itself?

Hey yes, it uses Haiku for the cheap and basic fill ins when asked, all the rest is operated via your claude subscription in a terminal when hitting deploy.
