File backup location and number of copies to keep

Please could you make it possible to choose where the ZIP file will be placed/saved to and how many copy's to keep (name them with date in the end of the filename, for ex. "vs_backup_20200423121459").
I basically would really like to have VSCode auto-save the settings at each start-up, but keep maximum [XXX] copies in a specific folder in my OneDrive.

Yes that's the idea I'm going forward with. Please wait for the future releases.

Instead of multiple copies I was going with the following:
VSCode checks if there's any existing backup file > checks the number of lines > and notify user if the current backup has more/less content than the previously saved one and replace on confirm.
Not many people will appreciate the program saving tons of files in there system on every vscode startup, eventually to make a junk of files.

Maybe I'll add a settings option where you can put a custom save path and also put how many copies of the backup file to keep.

You have some great ideas planned here, but I don't see an update. I wonder if you could tell me what lines would I change in the extensions.js to make it save to a path I choose. Is there a single variable that I could set?
