Colors from Panasonic G81 and G9 cameras

Hello everyone,
I own several different Nikon and Panasonic cameras.
RAW files from my full-frame (FF) cameras open correctly and without issues. However, RAW files from my Panasonic G81 and G9 (MFT) cameras open with altered colors—specifically, a magenta cast dominates the image, especially in the shadows. These same files open correctly in other applications.
What could be the cause? Is there a way to fix or work around this?

Same issue on GX9 - purple tint, low contrast on RAW - I really struggle to match white-balance. Is thee a way to use JPG from RAW+JPG pair to match presets?
Edit: just cheked - Lumix FZ1000 is also affected, but for some reason much less. Its "purple-tint" (apx. 10 shift on Green/Magenta) while GX9 gives basically "magenta soup" that is shifting magenta-to-green as I try to correct it surpassing 60 shift on G-M..

Any color or white balance adjustments fail to yield good results. While I am satisfied with the RAW colors from other cameras, the situation is very poor with MFT sensors; it is impossible to edit photos from these cameras effectively.
It is a real shame, because I really liked this editor and had hoped to have an app for quick photo editing.

Same, Its actually one of reasons I dared to switch to Linux - and why I was convinced I could abandon windows dual-boot. This RAWeditor is truly amazing in terms of functionality. One can really see it comes from someone doing fotography - the features are quite comfortable. But the color issue on my Lumixes is a severe block as of now.

Same thing on GX8 and GF5. In Lightroom, Affinity and RawTherapee the colors are fine. Here are screenshots from viewport to show how bad it is (in-camera JPEG vs RW2):

I also have the same magenta-like cast with my GX85 and GF5 RAW files.
This issue doesn't show up in any other photo editing software.
The issue exists using both my Windows 10 desktop (AMD Ryzen 7 and RTX 3060 Ti) and my Surface 12-inch running on ARM (Snapdragon X Plus and Adreno graphics)

I have tried a lot - and its possible to match temperature and green balance, but the brown (anything reddish) tones are completely destroyed by it.

Honestly - if this issue is fixed, I can give up Windows on dual boot and put the drive into the bottom drawer, my Raw developer is last piece of Windows software I am limited by.

Same thing here with a Leica d-Lux 7 (basically a relabeled Panasonic DC-LX100 II). With my Canon, RapidRAW works perfectly fine though.

The issue seems to arise already at import time.

Is there already an issue about this? I could not find anything, but that does not mean much...

I am currently hoping that dnglab/dnglab#792 will fix it

Hm... let's see. I tried to do the process manually, and the file looks the same if I import it into RapidRAW and if I convert it to DNG with dnglab first and import it afterwards. So far so good - but in case of the LX100 II or my d-Lux 7, there is no black point value set and commented out in the TOML file as with your GX80.

And if I import that dng then into Lightroom, it looks surprisingly different, see the light from the lamp (RapidRAW on top, Lightroom on bottom). therefore I assume there is something else wrong that happens after DNG conversion.

I can somewhat correct this by playing around with the brightness settings in RapidRAW, but then the whole image gets more blue-ish, and the details in the almost white area are gone then.

Edit: if I import the DNG into Darktable, it looks pretty much as it does in Lightroom.

I did tests on the dnglab PR branch and some of my raws (GX80) and can confirm that it is the fix that we are waiting for.
