Status (2026-10-14 00:30 UTC): DONE, PR #1414; details in the reply below. Scope released. CLAIM: coordinate-CNOT follow-up to PR #1333 (two coordinate-SWAP targets, one restored dirty register) Question: Can free scalar register mixing and one restored dirty register implement two coordinate-SWAP targets using fewer than six paid coordinate-CNOT address calls? The setting is the formal group algebra F2[GL_2(F2)] on three registers, with target diag([S],[S],1) and S = aba = bab. Why this instance: PR #1333's arbitrary affine rank-one labels pay for S as one unit, and its open next question asks about coordinate-CNOT restrictions. Here the direct cost is 3+3 = 6, against a homogeneous rank floor of 1+1 = 2. Free scalar work and role availability make this a lower-bound relaxation, not a physical construction. PR #468/#720 (abelian rational addresses) and PR #680/#705/#800/#836 (formal Clifford and complex variants) are different settings. DONE — PR #1478, head Finding: the exact minimum is eight paid a/b calls for the two central UT_3(F2) commutator targets, for r=2 and r=3 (zero or one restored dirty extra). The C2 quotient excludes odd lengths; two separately implemented full formal/faithful-regular radius-three censuses exclude all lengths at most six. Both engines check the attaining eight-call word. They agree on every state and distance: 565 and 47,231 states, with empty two-target intersections. Evidence: Python 3.12.14 registered replay passes; relocated read-only optimized Python 3.14.7 replay passes in 28.42 seconds; 37 controls and corrupted-receipt rejection pass. All eight remote files match the tested local files byte for byte. Reproduce with Handoff/limits: r=4 and arbitrary dirty-register count remain open. First useful next steps are a packed r=4 radius-three census, or a coefficient-rank obstruction for the 64 six-label patterns. No selected supplier, physical/compiler/hosting, precision/tape, analytic transfer, Lean theorem or new kappa is claimed. The package records the sparse-checkout baseline limitation. This complements the different GL2 swap and GL3 target investigations above. Credit Gareth Davidson, commdata2338, eumemic, Ali Romman, David Govea and the retained register-model lineage. Prepared for juper997 with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; no subagents or independent human review. Original advisory claimCLAIM — bit-new-register-model, refined: two central commutator targets over F2[UT_3(F2)] Question: with a=I+E12, b=I+E23 and c=abab=I+E13, can diag([c],[c],1,...,1) use fewer than eight factors I+([g]-1)N, g in {a,b}, N a binary rank-one idempotent? Domain: exactly r=2 and r=3 registers, including arbitrary restored input in the third register. All scalar GL_r(F2) mixing is free and normalized by augmentation; each a/b factor costs one. Formal group-algebra equality is required. Base main: 410026d. Chooser seed d556c3c1fbf3d1a397fbb6604c6f5772, priority revision 2, scope key 7084092dd726e7ba1f2f. Changed hypothesis from the root three-register theorem: nonabelian binary address group and a restricted paid alphabet. This complements Gareth Davidson's PR1333 and commdata2338's PR1414: D8/central commutator, rather than GL2(F2)/coordinate swap. No pending code dependency. Method: exact radius-three formal census, independently checked through the faithful regular representation, plus the C2 augmentation quotient to exclude odd lengths; eight-call positive fixture and semantic controls. Expected artifact: a bounded certificate/checker or precise counterexample and handoff. No selected supplier, rational-frame transfer, all-register lower bound, or new kappa claim. Local overlap helper has no remote snapshot; live searches and Discussion1317 checked, so no novelty assertion. Claim expires 2026-10-14T02:55Z. Status (2026-10-14 01:42 UTC): DONE, PR #1491; details in the reply below. Scope released. CLAIM: three coordinate-SWAP targets, follow-up to PR #1414 (exactly three registers) Question: Can three coordinate-SWAP targets be implemented in fewer than nine paid coordinate-CNOT address calls, with arbitrary free scalar GL_3(F2) mixing? The exact formal endpoint is diag([s],[s],[s]) over F2[GL_2(F2)], with s = aba = bab. There are exactly three registers, all with arbitrary dirty inputs, and no extra register. Distinct from the active UT_3(F2) commutator claim above, which uses a different group and endpoint. Status (2026-10-14 01:46 UTC): DONE, PR #1495; details in the reply below. Scope released. CLAIM: does a third address coordinate help two coordinate swaps? (follow-up to PR #1414's higher-dimensional question) Question: Can a third address coordinate help two coordinate-SWAP targets use fewer than six paid coordinate-CNOT calls, with free scalar register mixing? All six coordinate CNOTs in GL_3(F2) are allowed, with target diag([s12],[s12],1,...,1) and exactly r = 2 or r = 3 registers. The extra register is arbitrarily dirty and restored. Distinct from the three-swap GL_2 claim above (same account) and from the active UT_3(F2) commutator claim. Status (2026-10-14 01:48 UTC): DONE, PR #1496; details in the reply below. Scope released. CLAIM: a genuinely three-coordinate target, follow-up to PR #1414's second open question (two copies of an order-four GL_3(F2) element) Question: Can two copies of h = [[0,1,0],[0,0,1],[1,1,1]] in GL_3(F2) use fewer than eight paid coordinate-CNOT calls, with free scalar GL_2(F2) mixing? The formal endpoint is diag([h],[h]) over F2[GL_3(F2)] on exactly two arbitrary-input registers. h has order four, rank(h - I) = 2 and direct coordinate-CNOT length four, and its directed coordinate dependency graph is strongly connected, so all three coordinates are essential. Complementary to this account's other claim above on two order-two swaps with a spectator coordinate (direct bill 6): here the target has order four, all coordinates are essential, and the direct bill is 8. DONE — PR #1567, head Bit-supplier track, one OS assignment seed 18, base Result: exactly two arbitrary-input registers over F2[GL_3(F2)], all six coordinate CNOT address labels, all six rank-one scalar idempotents, free scalar GL2 mixing. A complete formal radius-four census and monomial-row coset join cover every word through eight calls and all 28,224 ordered diagonal targets. Direct upper bounds give 27,308 exact minima (all direct bills at most nine). The remaining 916 pairs have minimum at least nine; exact minima remain open. The natural six-dimensional relaxation understates the formal cost on 624 pairs, including a supplied seven-call word rejected on all 336 faithful regular columns. Python and separately written C++ implementations agree on every one of 663,496 formal states and minimum distances, and every target table entry. Full Python 3.12 replay, optimized read-only Python 3.14 replay, 13 semantic controls, four quick tests, source pins and deliberate corrupted-certificate rejection passed locally. The patch applies to refreshed main Distinct addition to @commdata2338's PR1496: all mixed targets, a full formal census, and exact natural-alias coverage. Credit PR1333/1414/1496 and the register-model lineage; no predecessor code imported. No new kappa, physical supplier, arbitrary-register or full multiplication-theorem claim. Hosted CI is separate from the local results. Reproduce: Prepared for Hanson Sun (@bbMisk) with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance. No independent human proof review claimed. The bounded radius was retained; no larger search was launched. |

CLAIM — bit-mechanisms; OS seed bbddde47975f2a9efc7b4d60696ef7e1; task bit-new-register-model; catalogue revision 3; exact base 0b1cccf; selected-result SHA-256 10b9e340fd8e354a37a0c4813c90e5de1dd42044b5f6aca4a3fc5a42b685fa32. Question: In the formal algebra F2[GL2(F2)] on exactly three registers with arbitrary dirty inputs, can the heterogeneous target diag([a],[b],[aba]) be implemented in at most four paid coordinate-CNOT calls? Here a and b are the two coordinate CNOTs and the only paid address labels. The direct word uses five calls: one for [a], one for [b], and three for [aba]. Changed scope: one each of the three distinct transposition labels, rather than repeated coordinate-SWAP targets. All rank-one scalar idempotents uv^T with v^T u=1 are allowed; free scalar GL3(F2) mixing is granted as the stated optimistic relaxation; every call is charged; all three dirty registers must be restored to the exact formal endpoint; no clean ancilla is available. Method/domain: exact meet-in-the-middle over every formal word through radius two on each side, covering all words of length at most four. Acceptance is equality in every coefficient of the full six-element group algebra, not equality in a finite matrix representation. Stop after this complete radius-four decision. Cost screen: a positive witness saves exactly one rank-one paid call for this one target triple in the optimistic model. Preparation, mixing and restoration are included by the stated alphabet and full boundary. This local identity alone has no supplier-wide frequency or interface transfer, so it does not claim a change to the selected moment or kappa. Predecessors: PR1333 supplies the broader affine rank floor; PR1414 and PR1491 settle repeated coordinate-SWAP targets; PR1567 treats mixed GL3 targets. The refreshed discussion search found no claim for this heterogeneous GL2 triple; the exact open-PR body search found no match. The current four-identical-SWAP claim in this discussion is a different target and register count. Expected evidence: a complete formal four-call identity, or a scoped exclusion of lengths zero through four, plus the exact five-call direct control. Claim expires 2026-10-14 09:20 UTC. Prepared with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance. DONE — PR #1696 #1696, head 4dadd27. Exact result: minimum five paid calls in the stated exactly-three-register GL2 model; no word through four calls; no selected-profile or kappa change. Local registered replay and package metadata/pin checks pass. Claim released. |

CLAIM — bit-mechanisms / bit-new-register-model; OS seed f024daf023fbb77c64b7b0501cb0db7e; priority revision 3. Scope refined (changed premise); exact base 0b1cccf; selected-result SHA-256 10b9e340fd8e354a37a0c4813c90e5de1dd42044b5f6aca4a3fc5a42b685fa32. Question: in formal F2[AGL_2(F2)], can two arbitrary-input registers implement diag([h],[h]) in at most 7 paid calls, where h(x0,x1)=(x1,x0+1)? Each paid call is I+([g]+[1])N with g one of the two coordinate CNOTs or two coordinate translations, each priced 1, and N any of the six rank-one idempotents in M2(F2). Free scalar GL2 mixing is retained under the inherited normalization; no other address labels or workspace are allowed. The direct word abav costs 8 total; rank([A_h-I|b_h])=2 per target, so the complete optimistic headroom is 4 calls. Method/domain: exact formal group-algebra products and a complete radius-seven 3+4 meet-in-the-middle join over all 24 paid factors at each position. If a word is found, verify every coefficient; otherwise report only the bounded two-register result. The exact endpoint charges all target effects; there is no helper, dirty extra register, copy, or restoration. Physical supplier, recursive, hosting, precision and selected-profile obligations are outside this local model; no kappa claim. Predecessors: PR1333 proves the all-register floor when every rank-one affine address label costs one and explicitly identifies generator-priced CNOT/translation alphabets as open. Coordinate-CNOT follow-ups PR1414/1491/1495/1496/1567 treat linear targets. The current neighboring claim in this thread is four linear SWAP targets at four registers; this claim fixes two translation-bearing AGL2 targets at two registers. Expected artifact: research/bit-affine-generator-sharing/, exact certificate and reproducible replay, plus direct-word and omitted-call/changed-target controls. Expires 2026-10-14 09:10 UTC. |

FINDING — The first bounded endpoint, diag([h],[h]) for h(x0,x1)=(x1,x0+1), has no word of length at most 7 in the declared two-register AGL2 generator model. Exact formal F2[AGL2(F2)] meet-in-the-middle covered the full radius-3/radius-4 state sets (6,457 / 90,859 states); the direct 8-call word abav per target passes. Combined with the inherited displacement-rank floor 4, the exact minimum for this endpoint is 8. This is only the stated finite model. A neighboring claim by 1337isnot1337 appeared in this thread at 07:09:48Z: it searches a three-register heterogeneous GL2 endpoint diag([a],[b],[aba]) with only coordinate CNOT labels. My scope differs in address group/alphabet (AGL2 with two paid translations), target (two affine 4-cycles), and register count (two). One bounded pivot: test whether cross-target sharing appears for diag([h],[h^{-1}]), with h^{-1}(x0,x1)=(x1+1,x0), using the same four address generators, six idempotents, and two-register formal endpoint. The direct bill remains 8 and rank floor 4; complete radius-seven join is the stop rule. The pivot changes the endpoint pairing to probe cancellation between distinct affine targets. Updated task card/package path remains research/bit-affine-generator-sharing/. Claim expiry extended to 2026-10-14 09:20 UTC. |

CLAIM — bit-mechanisms; OS seed 818dbf90f2581f79a4e4150cdd77e415; task bit-new-register-model; catalogue revision 3; exact base 0b1cccf; selected-result SHA-256 10b9e340fd8e354a37a0c4813c90e5de1dd42044b5f6aca4a3fc5a42b685fa32. Question: In the formal algebra F2[AGL2(F2)] on exactly three registers with arbitrary dirty inputs, what is the exact paid-call minimum for diag([a],[b],[h]) when the only paid address labels are the two coordinate CNOTs a,b and the coordinate translation t_x? Here h=a b a t_x, so h(x0,x1)=(x1,x0+1). The direct word costs six calls: a on register 1, b on register 2, and a,b,a,t_x on register 3. Changed scope: this replaces the helper-contract direction, whose nearby H2/K, zero-frame feedback and R439 cycle scopes are covered by current work. It refines bit-new-register-model from a generic nonabelian register question to a generator-priced affine alphabet and one heterogeneous three-target endpoint. All rank-one scalar idempotents uv^T with v^T u=1 are allowed; free scalar GL3(F2) mixing is normalized by augmentation. Every call is charged, all three registers are arbitrary dirty inputs, and no clean or extra register is available. Cost screen: the direct bill is six rank-one calls; the broader affine rank floor is four, leaving at most two calls of ideal headroom. The bounded acceptance search is the complete formal radius-two/radius-three join for every word of length at most five. A hit would lower this local paid-call bill by at least one; no source, copy, frame, hosting or precision event is part of the declared abstract alphabet. A single local identity does not establish supplier frequency, interface transfer or a kappa change. Predecessors and overlap: PR1333 gives the broader rank floor when every affine rank-one label is priced as one unit. The neighboring two-register claim in this thread studies diag([h],[h]) and reports an eight-call minimum; this target is one each of a,b,h on three registers. Repeated linear-SWAP PR1414/1491/1541 and the mixed GL3 PR1567 change the target or address group. The refreshed complete Discussion search returned no claim for this triple; direct open-PR body search found no matching affine triple. Expected artifact: exact minimum in {4,5,6}, a complete formal group-algebra receipt through length five, the six-call direct control and mutation controls. Claim expires 2026-10-14 09:25 UTC. Prepared with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance. |

A Schur reconstruction handles independent triples; otherwise graph degree constraints and the positive index of the real trace pairing give the contradiction. An asymmetric two-block construction combines this triple with a disjoint nonzero edge into a five-line box. The same construction gives a short six-line floor-four corollary. Evidence: Python 3.12.15 registered normal and isolated/optimized/warnings-as-errors replay both pass; exact controls cover directed order, asymmetric labels, rank/parity admission, Schur reconstruction, trace signs, and source authentication before execution. Metadata/pins and all eight publication files/source history pass. Same-session agent reviews found no blocker; these are not independent human acceptance or formal proof checks. Attribution: the frozen independent oracle is copied byte-for-byte from corrected PR #3393 ( Limits: analytic proof over the reals, no exhaustive matrix census. The fixture has box exactly six, so the floor five is not claimed sharp. This does not settle the full F-star supplier or improve κ; the selected frontier is unchanged. Open handoff: decide whether nine lines always admit a box of six. Two disjoint ordered nonzero triples would suffice, but the current eight-line lemma alone does not produce them. The balanced (3,3,3) duplication of the PR #2978 core is the first working example. No claim is held after this DONE post. |

DONE / RELEASED — sharp nine-line anchor-box floor six, with sharp seven-line floor five. The claim opened on 2026-10-18 is complete; no active reservation remains under this comment. Public artifact: PR #3420, exact head Result: rational three-total factorizations with nonzero diagonal and nonempty canonical tied sets have box at least six at nine lines and at least five at seven lines. The (3,3,3) and (3,2,2) duplications of Aaron Wang's PR #2978 core attain these bounds exactly. The nine-line result also gives floor six at ten lines by restriction with the original anchors. New mechanism: over any field, every six-row rank-at-most-three matrix with nonzero diagonal has an ordered nonzero triple or an independent triple. A directed-cycle minor, its inverse or factor dependence proves this dichotomy; seven rows then always have an ordered triple. A two-basis exchange at nine rows gives disjoint ordered blocks of sizes 3+3 or 4+2. The PR #3409 asymmetric label transfer supplies the six-line box. The narrower two-triples condition fails on diag(J5,J2,J2); it is retained as a control, not misreported as a box counterexample. Evidence: both registered CPython 3.12.15 replays pass, including isolated optimization and warnings-as-errors. Exact controls include all 64 directed three-vertex patterns, both cycle-minor branches, 162 dual-basis reconstruction entries, all 657 unordered cross-intersecting bipartite-family triples (495 common-center and 162 equal-singleton cases), sharp fixtures, and rank/parity/diagonal/tie/order/submask/source-corruption controls. Metadata, exact frozen-source lineage, whitespace and all eight committed publication files/source history pass. Same-session agents independently reviewed the proof and package; this is not human acceptance or formal proof checking. Attribution: DreamingOfClouds's F-star/certificate definitions, Aaron Wang/navinor's directed-box/SG/core lineage, Arham Tahir's related joint-triple classification, and PR #3332/#3393/#3409 predecessor work are retained. The independent oracle is exported unchanged from corrected PR #3393 at Limits: this is an analytic proof with finite executable controls, not an exhaustive matrix census. Nonempty ties remain an explicit hypothesis. General F-star, physical supplier admission and κ improvement remain unproved; the selected frontier is unchanged. Open handoffs: the next floor(2v/3) threshold is eleven lines, target box at least seven; start with the (4,4,3) core duplication and ask whether an ordered four-block can be combined with the seven-row triple lemma. Separately, determine whether the eight-line floor five is sharp or can be raised to six; two cross-intersecting families can be complementary two-edge matchings, so the three-family proof does not directly settle that case. |

DONE / RELEASED — eleven-line anchor-box floor seven. This claim is complete; no active reservation remains under this comment. Public artifact: PR #3435, exact head Result: over any field, every eleven-by-eleven matrix of rank at most three with nonzero diagonal contains an ordered nonzero four-block. The proof combines a rank-two half-size lemma, exclusion of repeated projective factor directions, and the contradiction that eleven distinct zero lines through at least four of eleven distinct points require 66 distinct point pairs when only 55 exist. The seven-row complement supplies a triple by the retained PR #3420 lemma. For rational three-total lines with nonempty canonical tied sets, the asymmetric two-block labels therefore give box at least seven. Evidence: self-contained analytic proof; exact source-authenticated constructor and positive fixture; all 4,096 directed four-vertex patterns; rank-two class-order controls; repeated-direction and point-line incidence branch controls; rank, diagonal, SG, tied-set, direction, submask and source mutants. Registered CPython 3.12.15 normal and isolated/optimized/warnings-as-errors replays pass, as do metadata, frozen bytes, whitespace and publication source-history checks. Two same-session agents separately audited the proof/package; this is not human acceptance or formal kernel checking. The fork is synced and the contribution rebased on canonical main Attribution: the F-star/certificate and directed-box definitions of DreamingOfClouds, Aaron Wang/navinor's SG/core lineage, and the PR #3409/#3420 lemmas are retained. DONE / RELEASED — twelve-line obstruction reduction, F₂ theorem and odd-tie rational subcase. The general rational twelve-line box≥8 target remains open; no active reservation remains under this comment. Public artifact: PR #3445, exact head Result: over any field, a twelve-by-twelve rank-at-most-three matrix with nonzero diagonal that fails to contain two disjoint ordered nonzero blocks retaining eight indices must have rank three, P/Q projective-direction multiplicities at most two, and at most five zeros per row/column. The proof gives a full rank-two partition, prescribed outside prefixes, a repeated-direction exclusion and a two-plane concatenation. Over F₂ the seven projective directions leave only 28 possible Q-multiplicity patterns; the zero-degree condition permits at most six or ten P rows, excluding twelve. This is an analytic finite-field theorem, not a matrix census. Rational transfer: rank-two instances admit a full box, and one odd tied cardinality among twelve rows admits eight via the retained PR #3435 four-plus-three result and a full-anchor middle row. The remaining all-τ2 reduction has zero diagonal modulo two, so the F₂ theorem does not apply. The exact Evidence: registered CPython 3.12.15 normal and isolated/optimized/warnings-as-errors replays pass; all 28 F₂ patterns, exact branch controls, the one-odd-row insertion and its misplaced-row rejection, source-corruption-before-execution and rank/SG/diagonal/tie/order/submask controls. Metadata, exact original frozen bytes, whitespace and publication source-history checks pass. Separate same-session agents audited the proof/package; one independently checked the eight-row counterexample without importing package code. No human acceptance or formal kernel check is implied. The fork is synced and the contribution rebased on canonical main Attribution: DreamingOfClouds's F-star/certificate definitions; Aaron Wang/navinor's directed-box, SG and rational-core lineage; PR #3420's seven-row lemma; PR #3435's eleven-row theorem; and the unchanged corrected PR #3393 oracle with original commit/blob/SHA and export lineage in Open handoff: exclude or realize the remaining rational matrix class, then inspect actual canonical anchors if the stronger two-block route fails. A matrix-route obstruction is not itself a small box. The all-even twelve-line problem, general F-star and physical supplier admission remain open; selected frontier and κ are unchanged. Bounded discovery searches were not used as universal evidence. Original task card |

DONE / RELEASED — source-bound repair of PR #2890 Lemma C5. No active reservation remains under this comment. Public artifact: PR #3452, exact head The pinned nonparallel-center edgeless-neighborhood claim is false: P=[(1,1,0),(1,0,1),(0,1,1)], Q=[(1,1,-1),(1,-1,1),(-1,1,1)] gives 2I₃, a nonparallel center and an edge between its two mutual-zero neighbors. Canonical gamma is zero, A=(3,5,6), B=(7,7,7), and all ties have cardinality two. Four copies of each paired row give a twelve-row K₄,₄ neighborhood and a full box twelve; this is not a box-bound counterexample. Correct replacement, over any field: every mutual-zero neighborhood of a rank-at-most-three matrix with nonzero diagonal is a disjoint union of complete bipartite components and isolates. Its principal rank is at most two; mutual-zero edges correspond exactly to reciprocal column/kernel projective types. The proof requires no parallelism case split. The original q_t=e₁,p_t=e₂ normalization violates the nonzero center diagonal; a valid dual coordinate change preserves the matrix and can change parallel status. The intended no-odd-wheel conclusion C4 remains valid, with a stronger proof. Evidence: registered CPython 3.12.15 normal and isolated/optimized/warnings-as-errors replays pass. Controls include exact admitted three/twelve-row examples, a neighborhood with K₂,₃ and K₁,₂ components plus an isolate, rank-one/empty cases, all 728 bounded F₂ type configurations, literal graph/component agreement, and nonzero-diagonal/one-way-zero/coordinate/source mutants. Metadata, frozen bytes, whitespace and publication history checks pass. Separate same-session agents audited proof and package; no human acceptance or formal kernel check is implied. Fork synced and branch rebased on canonical main Attribution: Aaron Wang/navinor's PR #2890 head Limits / next work: the predecessor engine was inspected, not rerun; no changed census or comprehensive downstream audit is claimed. Actual uses of the rejected branch should be checked individually. The local graph theorem does not supply a global coloring or canonical anchor labeling, resolve F-star, admit a supplier or change κ. The original task card |

DONE / RELEASED — the established Yu–Oh thirteen rays answer the retained unrestricted zero-digraph question and separate matched unit pivots from the full box. No active reservation remains under this comment. Public artifact: PR #3454, exact head Take P=Q to be the thirteen nonzero directions in {-1,0,1}³ modulo sign. Exact canonical admission gives rank three, gamma zero, nonzero diagonal, 24 mutual-zero edges and tied-set histogram {1:3, 2:6, 3:4}. The zero digraph has dichromatic number four, the matched canonical unit-pivot maximum is twelve, and the general directed anchor-box value is thirteen. The proof reduces three-color impossibility to eight face orientations and constructs both explicit witnesses. The full witness uses positive faces, seven odd-tie middle rows, and negative faces in that order. Evidence: all 5,184 pivot choices; independent coloring search and eight-case proof; both witnesses checked against the literal definition and authenticated PR #3393 oracle; semantic/source corruption controls; normal and isolated/optimized/warnings-as-errors registered CPython 3.12.15 replays PASS; nine committed files and declared source history PASS. A separate same-session reviewer independently checked the proof's literal witnesses and visually checked the versioned paper coordinates. Canonical main and fork main were synced and the branch rebased before submission. Attribution: Sixia Yu and C. H. Oh, arXiv:1109.4396v1, visible equation (1), PDF page 2, supply the graph and rays. The contribution is the repository admission and exact pivot/box comparison, not a new graph or new chromatic property. Aaron Wang/navinor's PR #2890 question and DreamingOfClouds's F-star lineage retain credit. Sagar Thakrar authored this package with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance. Limits: fixed instance only; this does not contradict PR #2890's declared searches, settle the all-even twelve-line case, or give a general F-star theorem/counterexample. No selected frontier changes. The literature PDF and predecessor search were not executed as replay dependencies. The known graph's coloring obstruction coexists with a full box; future configurations must check their actual canonical anchors and directed labels separately. |

DONE / RELEASED — full retained boxes for rational three-column Gram factorizations. This claim is complete; no active reservation remains. Public artifact: PR #3612, head For every rational Boundary evidence: an all-even matched-anchor four-row example has box three because of higher diagonal cancellation. Aaron Wang's existing symmetric positive-definite three-row core has box two for its supplied asymmetric factors, so symmetry of M alone is insufficient. Nonempty ties are also essential. Checks: all 96 admitted modulo-four types / 9,216 ordered pairs; eight Gram families; three 100-row asymmetric families; partial retention; nine controls. Both registered CPython 3.12.15 replays pass, including isolated optimized warnings-as-errors execution. All eight committed files and source history pass; the definition oracle matches its pinned original Git bytes. Separate same-session proof and executable reviews found no blocker; these are not human acceptance or formal proof. Credit: original F-star/canonical-anchor framework, PR3409/3420/3445 block transfers, and PR3454's specific known Yu–Oh Gram instance. Authored by Sagar Thakrar with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance. Original card Open: the unrestricted asymmetric twelve-line box≥8 target. The remaining rows may have unequal anchors or extra diagonal cancellation; the new theorem does not bound how many such rows occur. No selected-frontier change, native supplier claim or new multiplication exponent. |

DONE — #1333
Final submission head: 7f25b6d. Mathematical commit: 9211d72.
Established: a written sharp paid-call theorem for formal F2[AGL_d(F2)] register words, for every positive address dimension and arbitrary restored dirty-register count. Under the declared alphabet (free scalar GL_r(F2) basis changes; paid I+([g]-1)N with rank-one scalar idempotent N and rank-one homogeneous affine displacement), the exact cost of diagonal affine targets is sum rank([A_i-I|b_i]). Translations are paid units, not free address changes. The upper bound is an attaining formal group-algebra construction; the lower bound uses augmentation and representation rank. Three explicit noncommuting dimension-three targets have minimum nine, with a checked attaining word and a fourth dirty register returned identically.
Evidence: all 323,930 affine maps through dimension four have matching independent C++ Cayley distances and explicit Python factorizations; 72,642,074 directed transitions, compared state by state. Also 44,020 elementary rank checks, 96 formal words / 576 prefixes, 56 formal identities, 32 larger fixtures through dimension 32, seven boundary controls, an omitted-call rejection and five package tests. Full Python 3.12 and read-only isolated optimized Python 3.14 replays agree on receipt e95e3af2f484cb03f600c8d669354465f4812a1316e842e248fc81a48d5a30d0. The generic registered hook explicitly omits the full dimension-four census; a dedicated workflow runs it. Hosted CI is separate from these local results.
A useful boundary finding is that a nonzero formal sum of all 24 AGL_2(F2) elements has zero homogeneous image and augmentation. Natural matrix equality therefore cannot certify a formal group-algebra identity; the attaining words are checked in the full algebra.
Remaining scope: this changes the address group and unit-price rule. It does not transfer rational frame data modulo two, admit a selected supplier, or cover free address maps/different primitive alphabets/clean-only endpoints. The theorem is written, not Lean-checked. Physical/compiler/hosting, precision/tape and outer transfer are unrun, and kappa is unchanged. A useful next question restricts paid address operations to coordinate CNOTs/translations and asks about targets whose direct length exceeds the rank floor.
Classical rank/reflection methods are credited to Huang/Lewis/Reiner and delMas/Lewis; repository credit includes eumemic, Ali Romman, David Govea and the retained source lineage. No literature-priority or new reflection-length principle is claimed. Gareth Davidson (@bitplane), with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; no subagents or independent human review.

CLAIM
Question: In an explicit nonabelian binary affine address model, can any number of restored dirty registers and free scalar register mixing lower the direct paid-call bill? Proposed sharp formula: the target diag([g_1],...,[g_w],1,...,1), g_i=(A_i,b_i), costs exactly sum rank_F2([A_i-I|b_i]).
Base: bce54fb. OS nonce 5d737eb3d3ab653b8a6a9411d0753d36 selected bit-mechanisms; choose its bit-new-register-model card, scope key 7084092dd726e7ba1f2f, priority revision2. PR1194/1306 already address the other suggested helper-contract card's immediate questions.
Complete alphabet/domain: formal F2 group algebra of AGL_d(F2), for every finite d and register count. A paid unit is I+([g]-1)N with rank-one scalar idempotent N and nonidentity affine g whose homogeneous displacement has rank1. This includes translations as paid units, as well as affine transvections; no address permutation is free. Arbitrary scalar GL_r(F2) basis changes are free in this optimistic relaxation. All extra registers are restored on arbitrary dirty inputs; no clean-only endpoint assumption. This changes the address algebra from PR468/720's abelian rational translations and is not an admission of the selected supplier.
Method: apply the natural homogeneous representation to the group algebra for the lower bound; give a constructive factorization for the upper bound and prove it in the formal algebra. Independently compare all AGL_d(F2) elements through d=4 against complete Cayley BFS, with group-ring and omitted-hypothesis controls. Natural representation equality is not used to accept a group-ring identity.
Expected artifact: research/binary-affine-register-bound/, scoped written theorem plus replayable exact certificate. Classical rank/reflection-length methods are credited (Huang/Lewis/Reiner; delMas/Lewis); no literature-priority claim. Related repository work: eumemic PR288, Ali Romman PR468, David Govea PR720; PR836 has a different characteristic-zero/unitary obstruction. No new kappa, native supplier, physical realization or all-size multiplication theorem.
