Install Sine on macOS

Hello. I have an M5 MacBook Pro and downloaded Sine from GitHub. However, the downloaded file has no extension, so I don't know what to open it with to start the installation. When I add the .dmg extension (which seems the most logical choice), I get an error message stating that the disk image is corrupted. I assume, then, that I'm not using the correct file extension. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

The instructions state that you must download the installer, then follow the terminal commands provided, and finally execute the installer.
The file is intended to have no file extension.
