Sine menu not showing in Zen after seemingly successful installation (Win 11 Pro 64-bit, Zen Beta)

I've followed the Sine installation instructions and can't seem to get Sine to show in Zen browser. Can anyone assist?

Zen for Windows v1.19.3b
Windows 11 Pro 64-bit

I used the Sine v2.3.0 via the Windows installer sin-win-x64.exe

The installer runs smoothly. I select Zen as my browser, it properly finds my Zen folders and profile, I hit install, it says the install is successful, but the Sine settings aren't there in Zen. And yes, I have cleared my startup cache.

I also tried doing a clean install of Zen and redoing the Sine installation.

I have no other mods in Zen, and I double-checked that my antivirus didn't interfere with the Sine installer.

Can you share the name of the profile you're selecting and the paths that the installer selects?

Hi! I think I have the same problem. The installer shows the correct paths, but the Sine menu doesn't appear. (I should mention that I have Zen Mods installed, in case that makes a difference.)
I'm on Zen for Windows 1.19.11b
And Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
Paths:

• C:\Program Files\Zen Browse
• C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\zen\Profiles
  And the profile name is: q3la12yc.Default (release)

Do any files get downloaded while the installer is running at all?

How can I verify this? Where am I supposed to download the files? Sorry if I'm being clueless.

The installer should download files to your Downloads folder while running.

Problem solved! There was a conflict between a manual installation and the installer.
I performed a fresh installation on another computer, and the installer worked perfectly.
In short, it was all my fault lol.

@CosmoCreeper I'm on latest version of zen browser and installed the most latest version of sine using admin rights on windows, I'm unable to see sine mods menu in settings, I also tried deleting startup cache but that didn't work

What OS are you on and have you attempted to reinstall via the auto-installer?

i'm on win 11 64 bit home 22621.4317 and yes if i remember i re-installed 2-3 times

Resolving these issues in discussion posts is quite a challenge since anyone can chime in and keep adding to the pile of confusing answers.

I would highly recommend joining the Discord server so we can easily resolve the issue there or creating your own GitHub issue.

I fixed it by installing through the graphical installer, seems i somehow downloaded an older installer (which was CLI based)

Yeah some people can confuse v2.2.3 and v2.3.3 or follow outdated instructions.
Just something to watch out for.

Hello I ran into this issue myself, and was able to fix it using the following steps :

1. run the installation but this time uninstall any sine
2. clear startup cache in the browser, close any settings open tabs
3. close any instance of zen browser with task manager (no zen should be running during install)
4. run sine install again
