pnetcdf library can't find

When I make the parallel_mpi project , the error shows that ld link error, can't find -lpnetcdf

The parallel_mpi is not supported in this package at all. In fact, only the omp is built when running setup.py. The source code (including the make file) is there as the whole package from the original authors of the base library is included (including the required licensing information).

In any case, the error seems related to depending on the parallel netCDF library that you may not have installed. This link may be of help:
