The scoring service embeds with BAAI/bge-large-en-v1.5 (Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, MIT). The weights are downloaded at build or first run, never redistributed from this repository.
Crate licenses are enforced in CI by cargo deny against the allow list in
deny.toml. Python helpers (parity generators, the mock upstream, the
mitmproxy addon) use only the standard library plus what their headers import.
The scoring service (packages/brain) depends on PyTorch (BSD-3), PyTorch
Geometric (MIT), FastAPI (MIT), tree-sitter and its language pack (MIT), and
huggingface_hub (Apache-2.0); see its pyproject.toml. The modules under
packages/brain/src/parsec_brain/vendored/ are first-party code copied from
the reference implementation, not third-party work.
The trained curator model is not part of this repository. The base checkpoint
is published on the Hugging Face Hub under its own model license; PARSEC_CKPT
tells the scoring service where to load it from.
