HA Badges Support

Would be great if we could add Bubble-Cards as Badges for dashboards. Lots of use cases - e.g. ‎input_select (dropdowns) as a badge, or chip-style state/nav badges.

Ideally a ‎custom:bubble-badge reusing the existing ‎card_type options (starting with ‎select would already be great).

Nice, I wasn't aware of this. It's similar, but it's considered a badge not an actual card, where it pins under the header section.

Yes I'm aware of HA badges (but never used these), what benefits it would have by adding these as native badges? Adding a "Sub-buttons only" card at the top of your dashboard isn't the same?

A “Sub-buttons only” card gets you close, but it’s still a card: it takes a grid slot and sizes to the columns, whereas a badge frees that space and lives in the header row above everything. It’s about where it lives, not what’s in it. With badges you can effortlessly set responsive/left/centred layout, position them top or bottom, switch between wrap and scroll (responsive on mobile), and use native conditional visibility per badge.

Totally get it might be hard to sway you as you haven’t used badges yourself. You could try them out, it might give you a better idea of what I’m getting at. :)

I'm +1 for this. Current;y just use Mushroom budages but prefer all bubble cards :P
