UI disappears when using characters that aren't in the alphabet #8

The UI disappeared when I typed in "stripe"
This was by accident, but the UI couldn't be brought back with the tilde key nor could I save or go into the main menu.
I had to force my game to shutdown.

I have no logs or screenshots because I had to force my PC to restart.
