Sync issue - slow, never completes

I am currently using 1.1.3 and have been using it for over a week.
It had been working just fine after initial synchronization, and I have been creating plots.
A couple days ago, though, I lost sync. Plotting is still proceeding normally. I had an issue where I lost sync once before, but that was fixed by shutting down and force reloading.

I'm currently on 282066/282406. The sync moves along very slowly (it is not stuck) but never gets to full synchronization. I am connected to many peers. Plotting is still moving along as normal.

Absolutely nothing else has changed on my system since I started farming/plotting. I have tried shutting down the program, tried turning off my computer and restarting, and still get this same issue.

Any other suggestions? Thanks all for your help!

I am plotting and average CPU is about 30-44% (which is a bit high for plotting for me). But none of the cores running at 100%.

Delete your db folder in .chia\mainnet\ and re-sync. Nothing else will fix it. It should only take 24 hours to re-download as that's how long it took me.

Having the same issue, just tried this, and for the last 15 min "Blocks" is stuck on the loading animation and the status remains as "Not Synced".

Update:
Status has changed to "Syncing" and the "Blocks" section is now populating. Anyone in a similar position, give it 30-40 minutes.

Bad advice, I did that a few days ago and am stuck around 500 behind, seemingly forever.

After letting the system run overnight, now my status is simply "Not synced" - it does not seem to be trying to even sync any more... Anybody else have other ideas?

Only way to resolve is to restart Chia client and pray for resync. Devs are mum about the issue.

I’m fairly certain the network is flooded with intentionally malicious clients that refuse to send the last few hundred blocks.

This isn't a crazy hypothesis, for sure.
There could be a club of people with big farms who have 8444 closed and are syncing with each other via another port.

Bump yourself on to 1.1.6 (released today) and you'll be fine it turns out.

I tried restarting chia several times after completing killing all processes. Didn't work. Then wouldn't sync at all. Deleted the db files and now slowly resyncing - i'm at 81152/289950, but it's been literally 10 hours.

Ill chime in also.. Been trying to figure this exact same issue out for 6-7 days now.. I think it is some bad nodes in the network. I have 4 machines. 2 of them working perfectly. 2 haven't synced for days.

I did copy the database from one of the fully synced machines to the machines that need to be synced. This get me closer, But because the system never tries to sync I get no where.

I suspect it might be intentional hence why there is so much silence on the subject other then individuals trying to figure out what is going on!

I hope they come out with a release soon that resolves it?!

On my Farm (v1.1.5) from ca. 17:30 19 Mai 2021 infinite Syncing loop to get last 400-600 Height-Blocks - there are a Race condition or attack on Chia network to prevent to win coins.

@leefarg , if you are still experiencing the issues it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of chia. Please download it from here: https://www.chia.net/downloads/

Please note that upgrading major versions of chia generally requires the config.yaml to be recreated using these steps:
1. Stop chia
2. Rename the config or move it to a different directory
3. In CLI run chia init
4. Copy any custom settings from the old config to the new (plot drive directories, pool info, trusted node info, etc) - be careful here as yaml is very picky about formatting including those leading spaces
5. Start Chia
