Code of Conduct

Our commitment

We are committed to maintaining a respectful, professional, and harassment-free environment for everyone who participates in this project.

Expected behavior

Participants should:

  • Discuss technical issues, code, and design decisions objectively.
  • Criticize ideas or implementations rather than attacking people.
  • Communicate respectfully, even during disagreement.
  • Accept reasonable moderation decisions and help de-escalate conflicts.
  • Protect other people's private information.

Unacceptable behavior

The following behavior is not permitted in Issues or Issue comments:

  • Personal insults, humiliation, targeted profanity, or repeated hostility.
  • Threats of violence, encouragement of self-harm, or intimidation.
  • Hate speech, discriminatory attacks, or dehumanizing language.
  • Harassment, stalking, or sustained disruption of discussions.
  • Publishing or threatening to publish private personal information.
  • Deliberately evading moderation through altered spelling, spacing, or punctuation.

Strong criticism of software, code, or project decisions is allowed when it is directed at the work rather than at a person or group.

Enforcement

Repository maintainers may label, edit, delete, close, or lock content that violates this Code of Conduct. Severe or repeated violations may also be reported to GitHub, and the responsible account may be blocked from the project.

This repository may use automated moderation to identify potentially abusive content. Ambiguous cases should be reviewed by a maintainer. Automated decisions may be appealed by contacting the repository maintainers through an appropriate private channel.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including Issues and Issue comments, and whenever a person is representing the project publicly.
