Custom Logos in QR

Issue

Allow for the inclusion of custom logos in the QR code.

User Story

I have several tickets issued for various events. I want to be able to quickly distinguish which ticket I need to bring up when required without needing to shuffle through them.

Discussion

Recommendation: Allow event owners to submit a simple picture (e.g., logo) to be used at the center of the QR code to distinguish their QR code from others.

This could be done by having a simple image upload (optional) of a small image. Perhaps a 127X127 pixel in PNG.

Another feature could be to add a small block for a ticket number under the QR and/or event title at the top of the QR code block.

This is a great idea and actually one that I was already experimenting with! Getting the size right is the trickiest part to ensure that the provided image does not obfuscate too much of the QR code data so it will be a matter of getting the size right for sure. It is also on the roadmap to include the event name underneath or above the QR (like the asset ID is currently) to help differentiate QR's when you do have multiple tickets for multiple events! I'm glad this was helpful. Obviously, anyone can put any logo and it doesn't guarantee authenticity. It still provides a nice way to customize the QR.

It seems like SVG would be preferred for events that might use the QR code in varying sizes but still want to retain proper resolution. However, plenty will just want something in 'normal' dimensions for sharing on social, I reasonably suspect.
