The current colormap used by the visualization is hard-coded as a series of hex strings in the getColorMapping() and populateLegend() functions. These should be handled in a more automated fashion (i.e. an interpolator).
We should also later get clarity from the project's designer/stakeholders on the specific color maps that should be used.
