Hey! Since the GP-5 works when connected directly via USB but not through the Waveshare, it sounds like a MIDI transport/USB host mode mismatch. A few practical checks:
If you can share the exact Waveshare model and wiring, we can dig deeper. |

MIDI over Bluetooth for the GP-5 set on the Waveshare doesn't seem to be working either with the Chocolate Plus whereas it works fine with the Tonex One. I haven't tried sending SysEx messages instead of CC. That's a lot of characters to try and input on the phone via the CubeSuite. |

Nevermind. I found the issue. The MIDI table is different than the default GP-5 MIDI table. Everything is working as expected once I made the adjustment to the MIDI commands. |

Hello, I put together the wired midi connections with a waveshare 4.3B. Wired midi works great with the Tonex One, but with the GP-5, there's no response. I tested the commands with the midi controller direct to the GP-5 usb instead of the waveshare and things work there, so it's not the commands either. Any thoughts?
