- High Concentration Recipients
Recipients receiving >1% of the total spending in the dataset.
- Round Amounts
Counts awards in exact multiples of $10,000 or $100,000.
- Groups of Similar Recipient Names
Uses fuzzy matching to detect and group nearly identical names (e.g., slight spelling variations).
- Geographic Concentration
Top cities (or postal code prefixes if available) by spending.
- Recent High-Value Recipients (2025+ Fiscal Year)
Top recipients of large awards (> $500,000) in the current/recent year.
- Keyword Hits in Descriptions
Top recipients where award descriptions contain keywords like 'settlement', 'refugee', 'housing', 'immigrant', 'community support', 'integration', 'newcomer'.
- New Large Recipients
Recipients who first appear in 2025+ and quickly get large totals (> $250,000).
