[Feature Request] Add markdown extensions support

i've asked about this in the original repo before but it was never added, would it be possible to add support for Markdown extensions, such as KaTeX, SmartyPants, Mermaid...?

After careful consideration, I’ve decided not to implement Markdown extensions like KaTeX, SmartyPants, or Mermaid in this fork. Here’s why:

Flatnotes-Enhanced is designed to be clean, simple, and distraction-free, focusing on portable and straightforward Markdown. Adding extensions like these would:

• Increase complexity and maintenance burden.
• Add significant dependencies (e.g., Mermaid alone is ~3MB).
• Potentially conflict with existing features (like custom callouts, task icons, and wikilinks).
• Make notes less portable, as they may not render correctly in other Markdown editors.

For users who need advanced features like math rendering or diagrams, tools like Obsidian, Notion, or Logseq are better suited for those specific use cases.

I hope you understand this decision—it’s about keeping Flatnotes-Enhanced aligned with its core philosophy. Thanks again for your feedback and for using the project!
