Pull up resistor

From the docs I read that you suggest a 1-4 kOhm pull-up resistor, but as far as my eyesight goes you have a 10kOhm resistor on the image. What to make from that?

The resistor in the images is 3.3 kOhm (orange, orange, black, brown, gold), but the lighting was not the best, so I can see how it is hard to tell.

10 kOhm is probably too high to make any difference.

Thanks. I read it as brown, black, orange and gold. I will try it out with a 3.3k
