Changing voices?

Hi, I am working with the Wrapper on Max you made with eSpeak at the moment and it works really well, but may I ask is there anyway to change the voice of eSpeak? I read there are ways to do that by command line option but I couldn't get it work with the wrapper (https://espeak.sourceforge.net/commands.html). Would you mind to give me some hints? Thank you very much!

I think adding -v <voice filename>[+<variant>] to this line of the wrapper would work, but let me know if not

Hey thanks for the quick reply! It worked for me as I out it like this, where whisper is one of the voice file I found in eSpeak:

let command = 'espeak.exe  -v whisper -w temp.wav \"'+msg+"\"";

What I wanted to do though is to have it speak in Cantonese. I downloaded the voice file and it worked when I used eSpeak directly, but it didn't work on Max. I am not sure that's because I didn't use the right voice file, or if there could be anything to do with the Chinese characters when sending through the wrapper. I am wondering is there a way it would work also with the Wrapper?

Hmm, can you share the file you are using, the code you are using to try to invoke it, and any error messages you are getting?

Sorry which file would you like me to share? I downloaded the additional data for Cantonese from this link: https://espeak.sourceforge.net/data/index.html
It says the voice name should be "zhy", I tried it and Chinese character didn't work while English did. So far I didn't get any error message.
