GPT-RAG v3.0.0 and AI Landing Zone Bicep module v2.1.0 add end-to-end Foundry IQ retrieval support.
The Azure AI Landing Zones portal experience should be updated so users can select and deploy the new GPT-RAG Foundry IQ path without manual configuration after deployment.
User/operator impact
Today, the portal flow does not expose the new Foundry IQ deployment options added in the Bicep module. Users who want GPT-RAG with Foundry IQ need to know the underlying configuration details and apply them outside the portal experience.
The portal should make the supported path obvious and generate the correct configuration for the released module.
Requested update
Please update the portal experience to support the GPT-RAG Foundry IQ configuration introduced by:
Azure/bicep-ptn-aiml-landing-zone v2.1.0
Azure/GPT-RAG v3.0.0
Azure/gpt-rag-orchestrator v2.9.0
The portal should account for:
- Foundry IQ as a GPT-RAG retrieval backend.
- Knowledge Base and Knowledge Source runtime configuration.
- Pattern A: native permissions with OBO.
- Pattern B: custom security fields with
filterAddOn.
- Required App Configuration values generated by the Bicep deployment.
knowledgeRetrieval billing configuration.
- Azure AI Search semantic ranker standard requirement for Foundry IQ.
