In the quickstart to install Azure IoT Operations:

If the azure-iot-ops, connectedk8s, and k8s-extension az CLI extensions aren't installed before you start and the az CLI hasn't been configured to auto install extensions - then the External-Configurator and grant_entra_id_roles scripts will hang indefinitely.

Fix — Make the azure-iot-ops check fatal, and add checks for the other two extensions (script change)

I'd rather error out than auto-install in case the user doesn't want/doesn't have permissions or something. But I can handle the error better.

In External-Configurator.ps1, replace the existing extension check block (~lines 208–218):

Fix B — Add the same extension check to grant_entra_id_roles.ps1

Add an equivalent block near the top of grant_entra_id_roles.ps1 (after the Azure CLI version check), since that script also calls az connectedk8s commands:
