Proceeds fund node deployment hardware, tower climbers and community events. The vendor directory link is retargeted from the bare homepage to the Meshtastic collection page: the homepage does not set the affiliate cookie, so the parameter would have been dead there. Seeed prices had drifted. L1 $29.90 to $33.99, L1 Pro $42.90 to $52.99, Solar P1 Pro ~$90 to ~$101. The L1 Pro line claimed it was "worth the extra $13"; that gap is now $19, so the sentence is reworded to list the features without restating a verdict at a price it was not made at.
