Toolbar Color Won't Change

I am unable to change the color of the background of the toolbars. I have tried toggling "show in toolbar" and "toolbar top/bottom." I am able to put a hex code in the field for top toolbar and bottom toolbar background color, but the color does not actually change. The hex code works for the main background color. Any advice?

Looking at this I think that the toolbars now don't really do much with the latest Anki updates. Can you send a screenshot of which part you're wanting to update?
