Gear icon not displaying properly

Problem description

I have a problem displaying a different gear icon than the default one (the background image works perfectly fine) by using this addon. I previously tried using an another addon which worked fine in that aspect but was unsatisfactory in others, which led me to change to this one, and I have now disabled the previous one.
I can open the parameters window and change the name of the file I want as my gear icon, which I do by using the option to browse the files, but when refreshing (or event restarting) Anki it doesn't change the gear icon, the only one that works is the gears.svg, while selecting other gears icons included in the user_files folder only result in displaying the default one but in day_mode (dark), while I use night_mode (in which the gear normally appears white)
After trying to disable some of my addons, the problem disappears when disabling the Enhance main window (Customized by Shige) addon (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/911023479), is there any workaround possible to avoid this interaction so I can use both addons simultaneously ?

• I've verified that I use the latest version of the add-on by redownloading it from AnkiWeb
• I've tried to disable other add-ons to see if there are any interactions present
• My issue disappears when I hold shift while starting Anki.
• I've checked if anyone else reported this problem before by looking through the issue reports. I also checked to see if there is a section about known issues in the add-on description, documentation, or README.

During my review of the configuration and files of Shige's add-on, I couldn't find where the conflict arises. It could be worth commenting this addon conflict on the AnkiWeb add-ons page to see if Shige can relieve this conflict from that end since it's not clear to us which of his software additions interferes with the selection of Anki's gear icon.

Well thanks for trying, it is not the main important feature to me anyway and the background image works fine so it's ok, enough as far as I'm concerned.
