Numeric keyboard not working with this

Which Note Type (and version) is this about? AnKing - cloze one-by-one

• I've verified that I use the latest version of the note type by redownloading it from AnkiWeb
• I've checked if anyone else asked this question before by looking through the issue reports.
• I've read through the README documents on this github and/or watched the tutorial video on the note types

I have tried replacing the "Reveal cloze shortcut" with any number (I have avoided conflicts with other shortcuts), but unfortunately it only works for the standard numbers, not the numbers on the numeric keypad. As a matter of fact, not a single button on the numeric keypad ca be used as a "Reveal cloze shortcut", as it simply doesn't work, even when accounting for possible shortcut conflicts. This is important to me as I only use the numeric keypad to do reviews (my spacebar is malfunctioning). Can you please suggest a workaround this issue?

Hello Doctor! Thank you for your swift reply. Yes, it is only for the AnKing note types. I do my reviews on the numeric keypad, so the keys work (and you are right, they only work with the num lock toggled). When I type the number (from the numeric keypad) to change the shortcut, it changes, all fine and dandy, but then it doesn't work (only for the numeric keypad, the numbers on the left of the keyboard work).

What are you trying to toggle with a number? The cloze one by one feature? Which number are you using?

The "Reveal cloze shortcut", which is by default assigned to the letter "N". I tried every number from 0 to 9, and none works on the numeric keypad.

I had to play around with it but I found the fix. Use Numpad8

@abdnh it may be worth updating the AnKing Note Types add-on to put the Numpad numbers in instead of just a number in the code.

Thank you! It worked. For whom it may concern, I followed these steps. Open Anki -> Click Browse -> Go to the "AnKing" note type, left hand side of the screen -> Click any note -> Click "Cards" (upper right hand side, but place may vary) -> Click "Back Template" -> Change "var revealNextShortcut" = "Numpad 8". For me it was a little different compared to @AnKingMed's picture, but it worked nonetheless.

This won't work for users with no numpads. Will look into a fix in the template to make it recognize both types.
