The image module wont show when I using entries option

Hi everyone, I would love to have some help.

I compile waybar from source, master branch, latest.
The image won't show up on the bar, also there's NO error in waybar's log when I config my image module with entries option like this:

The image only shows up when the old config is used

It's worth mentioning that when I set multiple to true, I would get this error:

entries is handled only by the multiple-image strategy, so add "multiple": true. Also give every entry a string marker; the current validator rejects a missing marker:

The multiple-image implementation selects this path only when multiple is true and validates path plus marker as strings: source. Note that the posted snippet also appears to be missing the opening quote in "entries".
