Waybar status ?

[leafayon]

There haven't been any new commits since May, so I was wondering if Waybar was on life support?

This is a good question.
I have also been trying to get a merge to fix a regression from the 0.15 update.
It would be sad if it takes the same path as projects such as Wofi.

[leafayon]

Wait wait, Wofi no longer receiving updates ? That's sad :c

I love how simple Waybar is, no widgets that do a million things. They are simple, effective, and customizable :D

[martuscellifaria]

Kind of. At Wofi's repo is a message: "This project is not being actively maintained. It does still receive some updates from time to time but nothing frequent.".

Time to find another launcher I gess

It's just two months... People do this for free and might also have personal life. 😊

No complains about this.
I also do have a personal life and work in a full time job. Touching grass is important. But sometimes the community just gets worried as some other projects they care about become abandonware. There is also nothing wrong with that.

Thanks for your patience! 🙏 A new release is coming soon — a big batch just landed on master: several crash fixes, lots of bug fixes, new features across many modules, and a few new modules. We're wrapping up the last pieces before tagging. Stay tuned!

Hooray!

Thanks for your time, @Alexays!
