Add support for SwitchBot Outdoor Pan/Tilt Cam 3K, Outdoor Spotlight Cam 2K, and Pan/Tilt Cam Plus 3K (Cloud via Hub)

Hi team,

Could you please add support for the following SwitchBot cameras to the official SwitchBot app for Homey, via SwitchBot Cloud (through SwitchBot Hub)?

Devices
• SwitchBot Outdoor Pan/Tilt Cam 3K
• SwitchBot Outdoor Spotlight Cam 2K
• SwitchBot Pan/Tilt Cam Plus 3K

Environment
• Homey Pro (2023) + Homey Bridge
• Homey app: com.switchbot (latest available)
• Connection method: SwitchBot Cloud via Hub (no local pairing required)

Requested capabilities
• Account-based discovery and pairing for these models
• Motion/person detection events as Flow triggers
• Tile snapshot and, if available via API, live view
• Pan/tilt controls and presets (where applicable)
• Spotlight/siren toggles (where applicable)
• Privacy mode toggle
• Optional: send snapshot on motion/detection if the API supports it

Why this helps
• Completes coverage of SwitchBot’s current camera lineup within Homey
• Enables automation with Flows (e.g., turn on lights on motion, arm/disarm with modes)

• these are already mature products and many Homey users will benefit from these additions

Notes
• I’m happy to test beta builds and provide diagnostics/logs.
• Using product names only here; the SwitchBot team should recognize these SKUs.

I wish I could but the API for all those doesn't support anything. I have asked SwitchBot but I don't think they are interested.

Hi Ady thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate your advice and contributions to our Homey community.

I got in touch with Homey whose AI agent told me to get in touch with you and even went as far as helping me to craft the above message LOL.

I got in touch with Switchbot who after some coaxing revealed that support for Homey users will be limited to only Matter enabled devices from now on. They also advised that I should be be selective of the SB products I buy in the future. It wasn't pleasant for someone who has grown to like using SB products but i do appreciate the responsiveness, politeness and honesty (willing to go off the script) from their team.

I will explore ONVIF and RTSP options.
