Proposal: Add Portland, OR / Beaverton, WA EV Charging Station Data for Pacific Northwest Region

I'm a resident of downtown Portland, OR who commutes to Beaverton, OR for work and am researching local EV charging infrastructure as I switch to an electric vehicle. I'd love to contribute my findings to expand coverage to the Pacific Northwest.

Why This Matters

Portland and Beaverton have a growing but unevenly documented EV charging network. This data would help EV drivers plan routes, identify charging deserts, and support federal NEVI investment goals for Oregon.

Charging Stations Found Near Downtown Portland (~5 km radius)

Based on OpenStreetMap/PlugShare data:

Closest to Downtown (within ~1 km):

• Tesla Supercharger (805 SW Broadway): NACS, 4 connectors, 250kW, customers only, 24/7 — ~320m
• Blink (multiple locations): J-1772, Level 2, public, ~560–620m
• Unnamed Station (CCS/CHAdeMO/J-1772): public, ~640m
• ChargePoint: Level 2, public, ~680m
• EVgo (NW Raleigh St, 2170): CHAdeMO + CCS, 480V, public, ~2.3 km

• Bike route: ~45–60 min via SW Madison → Broadway → Sunset Highway → Beaverton-Hillsdale
