Visual and content refinement handover

Completed locally on 5 September 2026. This report does not indicate a deployment.

The later approved layout integration supersedes this report's grid and Work-opening descriptions and records the subsequent release checks. The findings below remain a dated account of the earlier pass.

Review findings and disposition

Finding Implemented response Status
Generated imagery could be mistaken for product captures Restored original technical captures where available; retained enhanced covers with specific editorial captions. Original videos remain unchanged. Complete for the available assets
Mobile openings delay the work and navigation Shortened the homepage opening and interior title planes; simplified the mobile Work reel and tightened section spacing. Complete
Compressed headings and small labels impair reading Opened the shared heading width, tracking and leading; enlarged navigation, metadata and captions while retaining the signature hero treatment. Complete
Long notes and tables need navigation Added native contents disclosures to longer notes and labelled, keyboard-scrollable table containers. Complete
Flagship pages need concrete examples Added clearly identified conceptual dependency, revision and tool-contract examples to Blocks, Designesto and Craft. These are not represented as customer results. Implemented; authentic walkthrough media remains source-dependent
Copy repeats positioning and qualifications Refined first-person copy across About, work records and two notes; retained necessary ownership boundaries and removed repeated defensive wording. Complete
Lab routes obscure the actual experiments Added distinct demo, build write-up and source actions. Complete
Patent chronology is ambiguous Distinguished the 2019 filing from the 2022 grant without changing chronological sorting. Complete
Enterprise work gives unrelated imagery too much prominence Led with the JPMorgan Chase Mumbai immersive lab; separated location tours and their footage from that project. Complete
Full-size images are served to small placements Added responsive AVIF/WebP delivery for 41 compositions, preserving originals and generating content-hashed derivatives. Complete
Ambient effects need polish and user control Added a restrained native-cursor halo, persistent perspective grid and travelling light front; provided a saved desktop motion toggle, static touch/reduced-motion treatment and offscreen pausing. Fixed grid crossbar and resize regressions. Complete
Work links have noisy accessible names Restricted archive link names to project titles and kept metadata separate. Complete
Documentation does not describe the current design Updated design, media and repository guidance and added the approved Velvet Reveal surface brief. Complete

Impeccable was updated to v4.2.0 and informed the typography, responsive layout and motion refinement. The approved visual identity takes precedence over generic style recommendations. Its optional local build-path setting remains unset; the repository's own build and verification commands were used.

Verification

The final unchanged-code run completed successfully:

  • Astro check: 91 files, zero errors, warnings or hints.
  • Unit tests: 65 passed across 14 files.
  • Playwright: 172 passed, including grid persistence, reduced motion, motion preference, mobile containment, reading layout and responsive-media regressions.
  • Production build: 41 pages.
  • Build validation: 57 production artifacts, 20 work routes, six domain routes, nine note routes, and 38 LLM guide links.

Desktop and mobile browser inspection covered the homepage, Work opening and a long note, including motion and contents controls. This is not a full screen-reader audit, a WCAG conformance claim or a field Core Web Vitals measurement.

The responsive pipeline generated 328 derivatives, approximately 10.6 MB in total across all sizes and formats. Browsers select a suitable candidate rather than downloading the entire set. The combined smallest AVIF candidates are approximately 93% smaller than their corresponding originals; this is an asset-size comparison, not a measured page-speed improvement.

Remaining source-dependent work

  • Obtain a cleared original AI-video excerpt and a three-frame continuity sheet from that same footage.
  • Obtain a sanitized actual H3 workflow graph.
  • Obtain a genuine matched before/after Ocean rendering pair.
  • Replace conceptual examples with approved authentic product walkthroughs when suitable source material is available.
  • Verify indexing in the owner's authenticated Search Console account.

No substitute footage, private product interfaces, customer metrics or benchmark images were invented to close these dependencies. Changes are local and have not been committed, pushed or deployed as part of this refinement.
